Why are people thinking Vanessa Hudgens will play a bad Leah?

Why are people thinking Vanessa Hudgens will play a bad Leah?
Personally i think she would be a great Leah for the series but everyone disagrees =( why? i think shes perfect for the series! =D

    i guess people think that because they dont want a disney girl who was in high school musical and they think she wouldnt fit the role.also because of the no clothes pics.i personally think vanessa fits the character of leah perfectly.but for some reason i dont really want her to be leah.there were rumors that she auditioned,but she didnt and they didnt make a script for her.
